His current research focuses on computations promoting motor learning in music performance. Baptiste has conducted research at Goldsmiths University of London and IRCAM on the design of movement-computer interaction techniques for creative applications, promoting the use of a data-driven machine learning approach. He holds a PhD in computer science from University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6). ===== Research Interests ===== * Human-Computer Interaction * Machine Learning * Sensorimotor Learning * Music Performance * New Interfaces for Musical Expression ===== Academic Background ===== * MS, Applied Mathematics and Engineering Master Degree\\ ENSIMAG (Applied Mathematics and Computer Science), INPG * MS, Acoustics, Signal Processing and Computer Science Applied to Music (ATIAM)\\ University Paris VI (Pierre et Marie Curie) and Telecom ParisTech * PhD Computer Music - Applied Mathematics\\ IRCAM - CNRS and University Paris VI (Pierre et Marie Curie) ===== Selected Publications ===== Full list of publications available on his website [[http://baptistecaramiaux.com/publications]] or [[https://scholar.google.co.uk/citations?user=OUr2ddMAAAAJ&hl=en|Google Scholar]] * Fiebrink, R. and Caramiaux, B.
