Research Project: Development of Home-Made Sensors for DMI Prototyping
The aim of my PhD is to provide the MusicTech Community with dedicated custom sensors for Computer Interaction. If many sensors are currently used by researchers, there are still some limitations in terms of price, shapes and sizes. Also, many people do not use industrial sensors correctly and often think they are too fragile.
We have already developped a complete set of contact sensors (position, pressure, traction, strain and air pressure (blow)) using sensitive materials and resistive technology. Do not hesitate to contact me to try them…
